DipCogHyp, HPD, NLP(MPrac), MNCH(Acc), AccHypSupp I specialise in helping people to overcome eating disorders of all kinds
Chloe Cook
Hi, I’m Chloe and I’ve been part of the therapy and change-work field for over seventeen years. I specialise in helping people to overcome eating disorders of all kinds (having been through one myself) and everything that goes hand-in-hand with them – depression, anxiety, OCD, self harm, body dysmorphia, trauma, addiction and more.
I have more than a decade’s full-time experience of helping people to build more positive relationships and closer connections with themselves and the people around them.
As loving parents, we’re emotionally vulnerable to the behaviour of the people we love and care about most. We want them to be happy and successful and when we see them suffering we can become triggered by our own emotional baggage which can generate strong feelings of fear, guilt, frustration, anger, sadness etc.
Hello , I have been helping teenagers and their families for over a decade. Although I prefer working face to face in my therapy room in Hindhead , Surrey I also offer online therapy when needed.
I offer a variety of services to support the whole family from one to one sessions with the teenagers and/or their parents in addition to workshops and parent support groups.
I am a trauma-informed therapist, coach and neurodiversity specialist, offering online sessions and face to face sessions from therapy rooms in Croxley Green (near Watford, Herts).
As a parent and a therapist I feel I can support you and your child on your personal journey to resilience. Armed with a toolbox of support the Thrive team are dedicated to getting you the support you need.
Whether you are looking for coping mechanisms, advice or practical support, we are there to help you.
Please get in touch and I look forward to helping you

Hi, I’m Chloe and I’ve been part of the therapy and change-work field for over seventeen years. I specialise in helping people to overcome eating disorders of all kinds (having been through one myself) and everything that goes hand-in-hand with them – depression, anxiety, OCD, self harm, body dysmorphia, trauma, addiction and more.
I have a lot of experience in working with teens and young adults. As a consequence, I also work with many parents & carers who often need a lot of education, encouragement and support as they navigate the sometimes overwhelming and regularly challenging world of recovery with their kids. Eating disorders affect the entire family, so working holistically is vital in helping someone to get better.
I’m a Mum to three teenage daughters myself so I know just how demanding family dynamics and relationships can be at the best of time, whether or not there are the added complexities of mental wellbeing or neurodiversity to consider.
Partners are also welcome to work with me. Adults who newly develop an eating disorder, or who have relapsed, or who have been struggling for a long time sometimes require a different approach to getting better and the support they receive from their partners is absolutely key in their recovery process.
I love my work and all I want is to help guide people to understand what’s going on underneath the surface of their behaviours so that they can let go of the things that are holding them back and can go on to live their lives happily and healthily, being the best versions of themselves that they can be.
I am also an accredited supervisor and work with other therapists – both newly qualified and those who have many years of client experience – to help them improve their skills and therefore help their clients achieve their goals.
I work exclusively online and have supported people all over the world on their recovery journeys. Please do feel free to reach out and ask me any questions you might have about me; my approach to eating disorders; the type of therapy that I offer; what it might be like to work with me; and/or anything else you would like to know.

These strong feelings make it difficult to control our own thoughts and feelings and can create conflict in and around us and can escalate and contribute to the pain involved when a young person is experiencing emotional suffering. Our own emotions make it difficult to see a way though a challenging family situation.
When we’re in a good place emotionally we’re more able to help the people around us who are struggling.
When we resolve our own thoughts and feelings we’re able to change our reactions and approach situations with more clarity and insight which means demanding relationships become more calm, communication can be more harmonious and constructive solutions are more easily achieved.
I support parents of young people who are struggling with emotional issues because it’s not just the young person’s problem and as a unified unit you’re all stronger together.
If you’d like to have a free conversation to explore how I may be able to help you, please contact me.

I really believe that if you help someone when they are young it is something that lasts forever. Life may throw problems at them but teaching them resilience and how to overcome them means they can deal with whatever they have to face.
The truth is I enjoy seeing teenagers . They can be a challenge but they can also be enthusiastic, original, funny and fantastic at times. Helping them rediscover their joy in life is wonderful. Parents are part of the solution so I run parents suppprt groups and workshops , details of which are on my website.
I mainly deal with problems such as anxiety, depression, OCD, panic attacks, intrusive thoughts, self harm, insomnia etc. No problem is the same, neither is the solutions. This is why I have trained in numerous techniques and disciplines because just as your child is unique so is my treatment.
I prefer to work face to face from my home on the Surrey/Hampshire boarders where I can provide a cozy, non judgemental and compassionate space so my young clients can feel safe and at home. I even have a small therapy cocka-poo called Flynn who loves young people and is available for cuddles and comfort. In fact he is more popular than me!
As a parent I understand the pain of having a child who is unhappy so please do feel free to call me for chat and I will do everything I can to help.
I am a trauma-informed therapist, coach and neurodiversity specialist, offering online sessions and face to face sessions from therapy rooms in Croxley Green (near Watford, Herts).
The course of my life has been a little bumpy and I learnt, first-hand, early on that a person’s well-being can be very fragile and easily knocked off course by events – I wish I had access then to therapy, as I would have discovered who I was able to be far earlier on in my life. I am also part of a wonderful, extended neurodiverse family and I so appreciate the joys, but also the difficulties this can bring.
I love supporting my clients, both young people and adults, to find out how they have the resources within them to achieve positive change in their lives. I understand how challenging it can be to find the right help, from the right person; you are unique and so is the way you experience your issue.
I support issues such as anxiety, depression, phobias, addiction, confidence, performance and sleep issues. When working with younger clients I also work closely with parents to help understand how they can support the therapeutic journey to ensure lasting change.
I offer all prospective clients a free, 30-minute call or Zoom session to help them decide if I am the right therapist for them.

Hi I am Jackie, a working mother of two teenage boys. My career has spanned many industries over the years but I have focussed most of my working energy in the healthcare and dental industries. I have always been a good listener helping and counselling my friends and family and decided to train and qualify as a Cognitive Hypnotherapist to learn practical techniques to give tangible help and not just be a shoulder to cry on.
To overcome a phobia of the dentist I decided to join the dental market as a nurse over 20 years ago and have spent many years supporting dentists to give great care to their patients which has given me an inside understanding of the trauma a phobia can have, now I work as a referral from many dental practices using the skills of Cognitive Hypnotherapy to help clients have a more relaxed relationship with their dental surgery.
Working and being a mum has taught me that all types of anxiety if not treated can stop someone living life to the full so in my practice I love helping my clients release themselves from their own emotions that can often dictate their lives. I help others to learn to manage themselves becoming the person they would like to be by understanding how their mind is working therefore helping them make sense of their thoughts to enable them to be more confident, healthier and more successful.
